I was asked to illustrate a 120 meter long wall covering a construction site located in the heart of Reykjavík. The construction site is in a very delicate area, touching some of Reykjavík's historic sites as well as being in near proximity to the parliament of Iceland. It was therefore very important to make the site appealing.
The idea was to illustrate a parade of people that would roughly represent the timeline of the project. A marching band leads the way followed by a group of contractors and construction workers. Next in line are variety of operators and managers filling up the new spaces for the general public to enjoy.
